Reserved Hike, limited to 7 passes, Hike into the west side of Aravaipa Canyon approximately 5 miles upstream to Horse Canyon. Bring shoes for wading in the water. Please no perfumes or deodorants.

Pinal City is a ghost town in Pinal County in the U.S. state of Arizona. The town was populated from the 1870s into the 1890s, in what was then the Arizona Territory.

American Flag Hill

Hike on the Arizona Trail near Oracle.  Leisurely pace. Meet at the Aravaipa Campus.  Please no deodorants or colognes. 2 mi round trip 400’ elevation

Apache Leap

Hike up to the high, rugged cliffs east of Superior on a trail up a small boulder filled canyon. 2.5 mi round trip 700’ elevation. It’s worth the hike for the views! Please no perfumes or deodorants.

10:45 AM at AZ Trailhead near Oracle

Down Arizona Trail - Oracle Passage

We will skirt the edge of Oracle State Park as we pass through rolling hills with oak and desert vegetation. We will leave one car parked at HWY 77 and the drive the another to the trailhead so this hike will be all downhill for about 7 miles. Please no deodorants or colognes.

10 AM at Catalina State Park Romero Trailhead

Romero Pools

The trail starts at Catalina State Park.  There are great views overlooking the canyon, and usually some water in the pools.  Moderate pace. Please no perfumes or deodorants. 6 mi round trip 1400’ climb.
